Award winning artist and former Tertiary Teacher for over 40 years, I now devote time to my own Drawing, Painting and Sculpture and private art classes.
My Ink Drawings, Watercolours and Mixed Media Paintings depict images containing different aspects of nature and the human figure. This has been strongly influenced by my travels to Africa, Galapagos and Turkey. Native birds, animals, reptiles and Ancient Romans have been represented in a Stylistic realist manner.
My Sculptures in bronze are generally figurative plus I've completed a small frog series. With my carved wood, especially Huon Pine, and stone being simplified and abstracted, with harmony, undercutting and tactile qualities being emphasised.
I am represented at Federation University Ballarat, Victoria and in Private Collections in Australia, New Zealand, Turkey and the USA.
I am also published in the Florence Biennale Art Books 2011 and 2015, in World Wide Art Books from 2016 to 2020,
curated by Despina Tunberg, Australian Art Edit Magazine, 2017 to 2019
and Circle Arts with Spotlight Magazine published world wide, 2017 to 2020.
