Deep in the Forest by Jacinta Leitch

I'd like to send out a HUGE THANK YOU to the 43 sculptors who created spectacular art for our annual exhibition, "Who's Your Muse?" xxxx
Thanks to all who gallery sat and to our committee that helped with the opening, as well as setting up and packing away this huge exhibition! I have heard many times, that people feel this was our "best exhibition ever!!!!!" This has come from sculptors and members of the public.
We have had a number of new members join us, and they all feel very welcomed and happy to be part of our group, so congratulations all round xx
We were very excited to have 17 sales (including one of our Geelong Sculptor's books)

Writer's Event 2019
It has become very apparant to me how important it is for groups like us to exist.
To offer the opportunity to like minded people to belong to our community of creative souls is a blessing for all involved......this was proven once again with our writer's event.
We had around 8 writers read their words inspired by our exhibition and our group!
It was a magical afternoon, and if you missed it, we have captured some of the works on our website x

Annual General Meeting
Our AGM is always a great opportunity to meet other members, (we now have 67 sculptors in our family), and enjoy the great hospitality and creative venues our region has to offer!
This year we welcome all our members to Lorne on Saturday December 7th from 11am
QDOS ARTS
We will hold our meeting from 11am - 11.45, and then we invite everyone to join us for some snacks and drinks on the gallery balcony until 12.30. The cafe will be open for people who wish to stay for lunch, or a glass of wine, and of course the gallery and sculpture gardens will be open for a wonderful afternoon at this beautiful artist owned and run venue xxxxxx
We welcome all members to attend the meeting +/or the social part of the proceedings.
Our 2020 committee will be elected, so if you have a willingness to join the engine room behind our Geelong Sculptors group, please reply to this email and we can arrange a nomination form for you.
